After Celeste and Jesse have sex and she goes away on the business trip, she tries to call him and leaves him a voicemail telling him she misses him, then she stares out the window and says "Of course, stupid" while smiling…what did she mean by that? Did she just realise that she actually does still love him?

I think she thought he was gay. Because the next scene they are together she starts off with are you gay? She doesn't realize she still loves him till she loses him.

I honestly don't think thats the case though, they slept together and she knew he wanted to get back together with her, it was clear after he realised it wasn't going to happen, that he was upset. You would think, it was obvious to her that he wasn't gay. I don't know, that little moment always confused me..

shareYeah, I believe she realized she was still in love with Jesse and wanted to get back together - it had been 2 weeks of not talking and she missed him etc. They both had something they wanted to tell each other but only Jesse said what he needed, I think she was planning on telling him then before he broke the baby news.
