DVD = No Special Features

Despite the fact that tbe back cover says there's deleted scenes and a makeup featurette, there's no sign of any of that on the DVD; just the trailer. Lame.

Ahh, so the Red box version is the same as retail. I'm more bummed that there wasn't a Blu Ray release though. Dumb that it was falsely advertised on the case though.

reply

That's dumb. I'm bummed there was no Blu Ray release myself.

Ok, so the site decided to act up on my phone and told me my first post didn't post when it did. Sorry for the double post.

Agreed. Super lame. I bought it specifically for the special features because I was interested in the makeup featurette. And nothing. Weak. As. Hell.

Same, I was highly disappointed by that specifically. I loved the movie and was super interested in watching the makeup effects behind the scenes, and there are NO special features on the main menu. Hopefully some day screamfactory picks this release up and redoes it properly

Scream/Shout factory have been impressing me greatly these last couple months. I found that my most recent DVD and Blu Rays have been distributed by them and wow do they do an amazing job. I picked up Day of the Dead, They Live, The Halloween Collection, and Big Trouble in Little China all under their name and I never seen menus to a DVD and Blu Ray so well done (I normally never care for menus either), The special features are fantastic they include everything and when I say everything I mean everything for example Big Trouble in Little China not only had deleted scenes but also the workprint versions of those deleted scenes. Everything they can scoop up for these movies they do and throw in. Their new interviews are amazing as well. I just watched the Danielle Harris interview about Curse of Micheal Myers on the Producers Cut blu ray which was really a good watch for Halloween fans not to mention the Curse of Micheal Myers Producer Cut for the first time on home video offically and in amazing quality. They quality you found before with all those bootlegs sucked badly but the quality of the Producers Cut looked just as great as other films from that time being put on Blu Ray.

To anyone who collects films on DVD or Blu Ray for special features and insight on the film look for Scream/Shout factory logo because they never disapoint. Scream Factory is normally the brand used for Horror films while Shout Factory is the brand used for Action films but both are the same company. I can't wait for Shout Factory's Escape From New York coming this April loaded with so many new behind the scenes stuff never seen before to one of my favorite films of all time.

But back to you saying Scream Factory to pick it up that would be amazing but I don't see it happening unless Wolves hits a huge cult status in 10 years.
