I couldn't believe it was the same man who played Bugsy in Perfect Storm. In Winter's Bone he really gave off an aura of lethal force.

He's great... I especially liked him in Deadwood and American Gangster

Definitely. I just watched the movie for the second time and found his (and Lawrence's) performance all the better.

He gave the stand out performance for me.

He was reminding me of Dennis Hopper at times with his appearance and how he was using his eyes.
