Better than 2 not better than 1 other thoughts SPOILERS

Finally saw the film (Thanks Amazon Prime!) and while I did sort of enjoy it the film had numerous issues (Not a surprise) The return of the Autobots was very anticlimactic. The return who have been better if they returned in the final battle. When they did return it was a more that is it kind of moment.

One part I did enjoy was when Leonard N said his great quote from Star Trek 2.

I found this to be the best of the three by far.

I really disliked the first and hated how they made the transformers look and was hoping for no sequel.

Two was much better improved on the first and I thought it wasn't a bad movie series after all.

This was by far the best movie.
Only thing I didn't like about this movie was that they dragged out the final scene for far too long (almost 1/2 hour something).
shia's horrible acting and that new blonde lead's purpose in the movie was purely for just eye candy - except for that only one scene where she manipulates megatron into standing up and fighting / turn against sentinel.

Ya, I agree with you. I thought the 1st was bad... 2nd got better. and this 3rd was the best of them all...

.. better plot, and better CGI.

I would say it was the worse of the three.

Funny, I've never been a huge fan of Shia's manic acting, but compared to his blond girlfriend, Shia not only came off as a ebtter actor but he even had depth to his character. The blonde (did she have a name?) might as well have been a sexy cardboard cut-out.

Did anyone really care about her, besides Sam? If asked to describe her character and acting what would you tell someone besides... "Sexy".

I feel like "Dark of the Moon" is the worst of the trilogy, because it had all the same mistakes "Revenge of the Fallen" made, only 2x worse (you'd THINK that getting rid of the twins from ROTF would've been enough to make this movie better). Plus the fight scenes were repetitive and anti-climatic, there was too much slow-motion, and what's worse was that all the Autobots in this movie (except Bumblebee and Ratchet) acted like complete jerks!

While 1 was the best overall movie, I thought 3 had the best action sequences.

1. The destruction of that building looked real at such a large scale.

2. The guys in the flying squirrel suits were really flying, no CGI for that!

3. Sam getting pulled into BumbleBee while he was transforming into a car.

4. The humans actually being able to take down some Deceptions by themselves when they started taking out their eyes.

And this time the story in part 3 tries to make you think a bit: Would you sacrifice another race to save yours and your planet? Sentinel Prime had a different stance than Optimus but he wasn't a completely bad guy.

So for me, 2 is the worst. The last half hour of Revenge of the Fallen was just explosions and Sam running from point A to B. At least 3 mixes it up a bit with different elements. Plus the big reveal of Devastator in part 2 was kind of lame since Devastator really didn't do much (like Venom in Spider-Man 3).

First one was great.

Second one was terrible in every way but the forest fight.

Third was great but for different reasons from the first.

It's definitely better than part 2 but lacks some of the wow factor that the first one has, but I think the third act was the best out of all three of them, even though the ending is a little rushed.

In order from my most favourite to least favourite, it'd go 1st, 3rd, 2nd.

First one had bags of wow moments, and interesting side stories.

Seconds one was a steaming pile is *beep* Terrible script and utterly cringeworthy.

Third one was pretty good but didn't have as much wow factor for me as the first. Final battle in the city felt too long for me though. Still, way better than the second.
