How many action scenes are in the first half?

I'm just curious, because I've heard that most of the action is during the massive climax. Nobody really talks about the other action scenes...is that because there isn't alot of them in the first half?

reply

There's a couple. Not many though. There's a highway chase, the fight in Chernobyl, and a fight with Sentinal Prime.

reply

I thought there was a highway chase towards the big climax...are there two? Also, what happens in the chase?

reply

No the highway chase is right after Sam and Simmons talk to those russian guys. Right before Sentinel Prime betrays them.

reply

Oh, so there isn't a second chase then? Also, is the finale really 45 minutes long? I mean, is it like the first film's climax with little short breaks in-between the battle?

reply

I don't remember a second chase, but maybe I'm wrong. And yes the finale really is that long. It takes up like a third of the movie.

reply

For some reason, I assumed that the highway chase would lead into the incredible epic climax...kind of like in the original movie IMO. Is the finale better than in the previous two films?

reply

It's better than part 2 because it makes some *beep* sense. And I think perhaps it's better than 1. Longer and more intense.

reply

Wow, that's awesome! One more question, is it like the first films's final 20 minute battle with some breaks in-between the action? Oh, and are the shots from 'The Island' car chase noticeable when edited into the highway scene?

That's all man, thanks.

reply

its pretty much 45 minutes of action. there's a few slower moments to let characters converse, but it never really slows down. and I guess The Island scenes are only really noticeable if you're really familiar with the island.

reply

Or maybe instead of asking the questions, may i suggest actually watching it? With the greatest of respect of course.
