Pretty obvious by his recent arrest he's a coke head and his acting was unlikeable in this movie so I'm suspecting he did quite a bit....He couldn't get through each scene fast enough..
I do agree that Sam was rather unlikeable in the film since he seemed out of character in certain moments.
