Megatron was quite merciful in this movie

When Carly went up to Megatron and started talking trash about how Sentinel Prime owns him, you could see he restrained himself from killing her. Why? Whether he agreed with her or not, in any other Transformers universe, Megatron would have squished her with two fingers...or at the very least flicked her away. For someone with such a ruthless persona, I'm surprised he just left her alone.

Obviously he realised she was right and pretended to forget about killing her, when infact he realised she was right and wanted her to bare witness to what he was going to do next.

Even so, Megatron would never need to justify himself to a "puny fleshling". Just seemed out of character.

He didn't squish her because she had a point, Sentinel was the one who was defeating the Autobots and Megatron was taking orders from him once they got to Chicago. Don't forget Megatron is very arrogant and since Sentinel was preoccupied fighting Optimus he took the opportunity he had and pulverized him.

Wow there's always people to defend nonsense. Megatron gets a lecture from a human, and does nothing to her? That's total crap, I don't care if she had a point

He thought she was hot.

Megatron was too caught up in the thought of being overthrown by Sentinel, you can see it in his face when he clenches his fist that Carly was out of his mind completely, and all he could think about was taking sentinel out.

In the first film megatron flicks a guy away from him in his fight with optimus but that guy was male.

PC dictates that in films A) the woman is always right and you can't be punished for being right and B) you can't treat female characters the way you treat male characters so violence against women is almost always a big no no whereas violence against men by women is empowering and funny.

The bar scene with dutch came out of nowhere and I'm surprised more cries of misogyny haven't been thrown around so to have another scene where a woman is hit would probably have got this film cancelled
