For all we know the NEXT 2 PARTS might interview some of the other members of the family or others who knew them who will have something completely different to say.

I think that has been a trip for HBO, though.
You make the usual woke fakumentary portraying some unknown bunch of black thugs as some poor virtuous victims oppressed by evil white males, and people will still believe it. The don't know better and they don't think a mainstream documentary is gonna be that manipulated.
But Woody Allen is not an unknown topic. In Europe, he's probably the most praised and known American director. That means that many people who has been accepting American mainstream news as unbiased (and that's widely the case in Europe), suddenly they're gonna swallow a little bitter red pill.
