Impossible to make a good shark movie?
How did Jaws nail the concept in 1975 and no movie has come close since? Deep Blue Sea is alright as a guilty pleasure but has some good moments, still no Jaws. The Shallows had some buzz for a bit but that one was just fine, and few people have talked about it since. Most other shark movies have gotten bad reviews. Seems like a studio takes a jab at a big-budget shark movie every couple of years and they're always terrible. This one is no exception.
