The most ironic moment in the movie

Is when Hank Williams III sings his tribute to the Whites and the lyric says, "They never needed nothing from nobody." Which is total *beep* since they Whites take everything they can get from everyone, including their government checks for being "crazy."

I have to admit that I have thought the same thing, when hearing that line, and thinking about how they get the government help that they do.

Me too.

I thought that too.
And who in hell is that Hank III character?

reply

He's the son of Hank Williams JR. and the grandson of Hank Williams.

That family just keeps getting dumber each generation.

It is scary to think of them 2 or 3 more generations down the line.

reply

His dreadful songs made me cringe.
