Who was Annie Mae?

Just watched this documentary tonight,...whew, eye opening to say the least. ANyway, I saw Annie Mae bring the drugs to Jesco at his Mom's birthday celebration and wondered how she was related?

Annie Mae is the daughter of Ona Fontaine, who was the oldest (?) daughter of the family, and she, like Sue Bob, was also a stripper. Her ex-husband shot her while she was stripping one night, though, when Annie Mae was 1. So Bertie Mae took Annie Mae in and raised her as her own daughter. There's a deleted scene about her.

I don't know why she looks the way she does, though. I don't know if it's plastic surgery or just unique genes, but she looks kind of... odd. So basically, she's Jesco's niece, raised as his sister. She's kind of psychotic, too, as you can see from her deleted scene.

thank you Strong, I had no idea. BShe was the best looking of all the women from what I saw of her IMO.

Yeah well... being the best-looking of that bunch is like being the smartest kid in special ed class. The sad thing is some of the ladies probably would have been decent-looking if they had taken care of themselves. They briefly showed a picture of Kirk when she was about 19 or 20, and she was actually a nice-looking young lady until she ruined herself.

I just started watching it again... about 3 minutes in they show a series of pictures of Mamie when she was, I'm guessing, from about 17 to her mid 20s. And while she wasn't hot, she wasn't particularly hard on the eyes either. So even Mamie was reasonably attractive once upon a time.

I agree, most of the ladies seem to have aged way, way before their time. And nobody in the family, IMO, can be considered flat-out "ugly." Just rode hard and hung up wet, lol.
Bo seems to have led the hardest life, at least judging by how aged her face is. She is younger than Mamie, but actually looks much older.

Bo says she had Kirk when she was 17. Kirk was born in 1975, so we can deduce that Bo is about 52 years old. And she looks like she's at least 20 years older than that. Hell, she's more shriveled up than Bertie Mae was at 84. That's some hard livin' she's done, for sure.

Oh, and check out the picture of Sue Bob at http://wildandwonderfulwhites.com/family/sue-bob-white.html taken about 20 years ago. She was pretty fine before the lifestyle started taking its toll.

Yeah, ol' Jim Bob WAS pretty hot before the drugs and cigarettes sex change lol!

They showed pictures of Mamie when she was young that were very attractive. Jesco wasn't bad looking either and he still has a look. It's obvious the drug & alcohol use along with little or no dental care has taken a toll of the looks of many of them.

"Where were you born? At home. I wanted to be near my mother."

Since watching the Special Features, she really has stuck in my mind. Not just her told while drunk/high story of father killing mother and her desperate searches all her life for answers ... but her looks. Out of all the Whites, she looks more Native than Caucasian, which may have come from her father, as well. Anyway, yes, she was yet another White child raised by her grandma ...

I'm not sure if her looks are a result of her genes or if it's bad plastic surgery or something. I can't tell. Her lips were pretty swollen, so that could possibly be botox or collagen... or it could be because she was crying and self-medicating herself at the same time. And her eyes were quite almond-shaped. The long, black hair and skin color reminds me of Pocahontas. They said in the commentary that the whole family calls her "Elizabeth Taylor" (God rest her soul) because they think she's pretty like her. I know she has a brother. I found their *real* family tree online. It'd be interesting to see what he looks like, and where he is today.
