Can Kirk get in trouble for the information she revealed about crimes?

At some point in the film she says that Bertie May helped to clean up the blood at the scene where her father killed those people--can that be used as a reason to charge her with accessory? That she admits that evidence was destroyed and she possibly helped get rid of it?

She said that they tried to charge her as an accessory, but "I told them go ahead and take my a$$ to jail, 'cause I won't snitch on nobody."

Murder has no statue of limitations. Although if she was charged with accessory and went to trial and was aquitted, then she can say what she wants
