Yeah, decent thrillers like this and Gone Girl are far too rare. People love them but Hollywood keeps churning out dumb shit instead 🤷🏻♂️
sharealso my favorite kind of movie , and exactly there are not that many, in similar well made dark criminal thriller that are not necessarily very famous I recommend:
-gone baby gone
-the lovely bones
-the frozen ground
-memories of murder (south korean)

Nicholas Cage and John Cusack? Has a 6.4 rating on IMDB? Looks like it's a film they actually put some effort into. Thanks for that suggestion, I'm adding it to my watchlist.
Agreed, great film and I'm a huge fan of the genre. This one was pretty intense and recently rewatched for the first time since seeing it in the theater and it holds up really well.
