How could they not know who were behind those masks? Did they bully so many people and amass so many enemies to not know who is who? The speech Dane gave at the beginning of how they suffered and they're giving the bullies what they're due should have gotten brains working.
It probably would depend on how many students were in the H.S they went to...My old H.S. is 3rd largest in the U.S. with over 4,000 students, so if their school was anywhere near that size they might not figure out who the perps were!
Yeah, I was watching this on Netflix last night after catching the last half of it on Chiller one day ages ago and wondered the same thing. It's like duh who else would it be? Guess the film makers were making a passing comment of the intelligence of bullies or something. :)
Plus the bullies are so wrapped up in their own lives they don't think of others... They think what they do us right and not how it affects people..no conscious...
I just started watching it, and during one of the opening scenes you have three girls walk up to another girl in the school hall. The one girl asks why they're so mean to her and they reply "We're not mean, we're just honest.."
The bullies are probably so detached from their actions that they don't see anything wrong with it, additionally they're indicated to have thought nothing about treating everyone like dirt.
So there's a good chance that they've bullied more people than we've seen and that they don't really view their actions as worse than goofing around at high school.
That's not true, bullies definitely know what they are doing is wrong.
Remember one of the bully girls even said "You know were going to hell for this!!" and the other one laughed and replied " We'll be the best looking ones there!"... They knew how cruel they were and they just didn't care....as it made them feel good about themselves to hurt others...that's how insecure they were deep down as most bullies are.
In regards to the bullies not knowing who was these "outcasts" were that were torturing them at first... that just shows that they were either:
A. Really stupid
B. Just didn't think the "outcasts" that they bullied could ever possibly ever have it in them to do such a thing- as they saw them as harmless wimps. (Most bullies tend to go after kids who they feel are weak and can't fight back)
C. Bullied so many kids (Maybe other ones that they never showed on screen?) and just couldn't narrow it down to who it was.
