movie was ass with basically no redeeming qualities. rush job plus false advertising to cash in a quick buck.
In the commentary, the director specifically stated that he didn't want to turn this into a Saw or Hostel wannabe so instead of focusing on mindless gore, he focused on hiding the gore and letting the audience's imagination do the horrifying. Another thing to note is that the movie prefers wide-shots over the close-ups that many TV shows prefer.
sharesaw and hostel never focused on mindless gore, they are by far superior and more disturbing films than this crap. This one felt like it was filmed by some amateur who did not really know what the hell he was doing, everything is out of place.
