Netflix

Wasn't too bad for a Netflix movie, I usually watch 10 mins of the cr*ppy b movies. Anyone have any other recommendations?

reply

I recommend Orphan, but it's not on Netflix. I know some people who enjoyed Orphan recommended Let Me In (which is a remake of the movie Let The Right One In [which actually is on Netflix] which was based on the novel of the same name), but that's a vampire movie not something that could actually happen in real life so I don't know if that's what you're looking for. Let Me In was on Netflix but not anymore; I think Netflix is waiting for the studio to renew the contract.

Thanks. I like all kinds of scary/violent movies. I love Let the right one in and the orphanage as foreign scary movies.

Embarrassing as it is to say, Hostel 3 (Netflix) wasn't too bad of a movie, quarantine 2 (not sure if still on Netflix), wasn't bad either

For streaming?? I have yet to watch Hostel 3 because of the reviews (less than favorable). I'll TRY nearly anything I come across, so don't judge :-).

The Snowtown Murders - VERY slow but a true story with script being written from trial transcripts and legal documentation. Disturbing movie, but it was too slow for me.

7 Days - Great movie (to me). Very good revenge movie. It's in French with subtitles but easy to follow as there's not overlapping conversations and mostly visual.

The Reef - Totally not what you're looking for, but very suspenseful shark movie. A tad slow to begin, but suspenseful (to me).

The Human Centipede First Sequence - Surprisingly, not a whole lot of gore, but disturbing concept.

The Human Centipede Second Sequence - Much gorier and deranged.

Wilderness Survival for Girls - I liked it. Another suspense versus gore movie.

Chain Letter - Typical teen horror with a good amount of gore and decent plot.

Grayson Arms - Good flick with Judd Nelson, Stacey Dash, and Jennifer Carpenter. Kinda/sorta twisty, although easy to figure out.

Blackout - Creepy elevator movie. Reminded me of Devil (maybe just because of the elevator??).

Mum & Dad - Just ick. Disturbing. If you like gore, give it a try.

The Dark Hours - Suspenseful with some gore. Keeps you watching.

Brotherhood - I really enjoyed this.

The Square - Really enjoyed this. Kinda/sort like Brotherhood in that things go from bad to worst when the idea is to fix things and stay out of trouble.

Absentia - Well, I made it through it. Don't want to again.

Occupant - Psychological thriller. Pretty good.

So, there are some movies. Some are good, some are not so good. You might find something you like in the list. I personally recommend 7 Days if you like revenge/psychological thrillers at all.

-Dad, who's that?
-Oh, that? One of my patients. He's...sick.
-Will he live?
-It's looking grim.

This is great, I'm going to check them out. I did see seven days and I liked it.

Check out Time Crimes and Them. Pretty good movies.

OOOO THanks for the list.

This movie was much less than a B-movie. It felt like a D-movie.
