CIA and technology in real life

Now I know API is not the CIA, however they probably come close enough.
As some have slated the show's portrayal of the API and how it operates it is not far fetched to believe that API would be under same constraints as the CIA when it comes to using technology.
This is evident in offices where everyone has only one pc monitor or the clunky library search engine OR the super pc that Hal character uses.
And most of all by the fact that the team's daily tasks consist of 'just' studying folders... which may make it less appealing to watch than say War Games heh But it's realistic and that's all that matters in this case. It's just another example of great writing overall!
