Does the show remind anyone else of The International?

Anyone around here seen the Clive Owen movie 'The International'? It deals with much of the same territory as Rubicon, with a protagonist whose paranoia dominates his life, where he can trust no one( and those who he can trust are few and far between, and is investigating a vast international conspiracy.

The final scene of that movie is nearly identical to the season finale of Rubicon, right down to the statements by the main villains that nothing will change due to the protagonists investigations and sacrifices, because it is far larger than one person. You can never win, indeed.

Very good call. At the top its the same people who control governments, banking, power.

It's one of my favorite movies. You should also see:

All The President's Men
Three Days of The Condor
The Parallax View

I can see how Katherine's death would remind you of that movie. I didn't like that movie at all but that's one of the scenes I can remember
