Do they catch the killer ? (spoilers)

For those who have seen it or read the script, do they catch the killer at the end of the movie ?

I'm not familiar with the real story behind this movie, but from what I understand the killer(s) was never caught in real life, so I was wondering if the movie changed that fact...Please do not reveal the identity of the killer in the movie, just say if they identify one.

there is 1 killer that gets away at the end but hes from a separate plot line for a different murder that occurs early on in the movie
