Impressionistic chaos

It is quite annoying if spectacles/goggles unexpectedly get unclear and the world around instantly transcends in an impressionistic painting. Something similar happened to this movie, where real life story got blurred through impressionistic post-production chaos instead of more documentary clarity, what I would prefer. Cast, acting and photography were perfect in contrast to stroboscopic-ally confused sequences, as if someone in video editing room lost track of what he/she is actually doing. As of facts, I don’t believe that Texas police is as inert and dumb as shown in this impressionistic movie.

I actually really liked the atmosphere of this film, but yeah not the action scenes so much. Jessica Chastain and Chloe Mortez were my favorites, and I liked the extras as well. If they had gradually ratcheted up the tension and slowed down the end, it would have made for a more gripping film. Not to mention the pimp storyline eventually bored me.
