I swear the next movie I see with this *beep* tagged on it, I'm going to kill somebody myself.
It's literally on most of the movies I've seen in the past month or so.
MOVIES AREN'T TRUE STORIES. EVER.
They really need to stop putting that on every film. Or any film. It immediately makes me think I'm watching a piece of *beep* that can't keep people interested without pretending to be true.
Doesn't change the fact that this movie WAS inspired by true events.

Just because the movies cannot be exact on word for word and get the story completely correct - doesn't mean the movies are't based on true stories.
When they say 'Inspired by true events'
It's because a TRUE Story inspired the writing and making of the movie.
Sure, whatever. I was inspired by the death of Kurt Cobain to write a story about a young girl growing up in an upper class town in England. It has nothing to do with Kurt Cobain or his death, but it was "inspired" by him. Kind of like this movie and the actual Texas Killing Fields.
