Which was also made by Warner Bros. and it seems like, over 25 years later, they're still doing the same stupid *beep* they were back then:

Greenlight movie with release date in place thus rushing the production.

Second guessing and *beep* with the Director at every opportunity.

Take the movie, chop it up in post and shove it out the door.

They seem to be run by morons......

Go read up on how they forced the release date for "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" back in 1979 (also a hugely overbudgeted mess) and how the director was showing up with the prints still wet in his hand at the premiere.

BOTV is pure crap. Only Mission To Mars is worse in De Palma's filmography, and I've even seen his 1960s films.
