Getting white people to play white characters isn't the same as getting white people to play Asian characters.
As far as Ra's Al Ghul is concerned, I have mixed feelings about that, though I don't believe the character was ever confirmed to be Arab in the comics.
How about Black people playing white characters? Nick Fury, Hemdall, and Baron Mordo say hello.
