Why changing the tone for the DCEU might not be a good idea

Suicide Squad was already light enough as it is. They even toned it down to the point where they had to remove The Joker's abusive relationship with Harley Quinn, which was in the cartoons and comics. Making Suicide Squad any lighter kinda scares me, because these are actual villains from the DC comics. Not a bunch of anti-heroes like Guardians of the Galaxy. The main problem with Suicide Squad really was the editing.

They *beep* it up on purpose when they severely toned it down, this should've been DC's version of escape from New York, it should NOT have gone the guardians of the galaxy route

Really the biggest fvck up in movie industry in recent years!
Thanks Obama! I mean Warner Bros.!
It really broke my heart!
I still think we would get one hell of a movie if WB kept their hands together and had more faith in Ayer and his team...I´m not saying masterpiece ok haters?

Their best argument is that WB actually saved the movie because it was so bad...
I simply cannot believe that...what was in the movie was mostly good!
Just put together very tripy and weirdly...and we have confirmation who did this and why and even which scenes were cut out...3rd act was the worst because it was one cliché after another and that was confirmed that that was done on WB demands!

But what I saw I liked...
I hope that their idea of "lightening things up" is the same as mine
