The movie would bomb.

Comic book movies weren't touched then cause they would flop all the time, until X-Men. Thats why so many actors didn't wanna do them until recent years

haha, fair enough. Then again if this was done in the 90s, Harley Quinn wouldn't even be in it. The entire Suicide Squad would probably be different too. What some of the characters would probably be and some actors that would have killed it in those roles:

Rick Flagg - Bruce Willis (I do like that call)
Deadshot - Kevin Costner
Bronze Tiger - Wesley Snipes
Captain Boomerang - Russell Crowe (think young Crowe before he started always playing heroes, portrayed quite a few rough around the edges characters in Romper Stomper, Quick and the Dead and LA Confidential)
Enchantress - Demi Moore
Karin Grace - Sharon Stone
Nightshade - Madeleine Stowe

If it was done in the 90's, it thankfully would've been Rated R
