Remember when people laughed when Affleck was announced as Batman?

Everyone said it'd be a disaster. Mass hysteria.

No one's laughing now. In fact Affleck is the ONLY good thing in the disaster that is DCCU, and the fact that he's director and sole control of the next Batman movie, with Snyder not allowed within miles, is the only hope for that movie.

Eh I do t get your post , you openly admit that the DCEU is a disaster yet criticise people laughing when it was announced he would be the caped crusader ? People are still laughing and rightly so, after all BvS was a disaster

He's saying Affleck was the sole bright spot in the movie and him having more control over the DCEU is a positive. I agree with him. He was the only bright spot of BVS... in fact he was the best part of SS too.

Im amazing people are praising him. Usually if a movie is bad fans blindly hate everything about it, even the good parts.

For example Daredevil was a bad movie...but one of the bright spots was Affleck as Daredevil. His portrayal was great but he couldn't save everything else in the movie from being bad.
And despite the great job he did Affleck still got grouped along with Michael Clark Duncan and Jennifer Garner and the terrible script and he was undeservedly hated along with everything else.

I think Affleck did a great job as Batman, but Im still shocked people acknowledge that since the movie as a whole isn't liked.

Have you ever noticed that the people who say "DC is for adults and Marvel is for kids", are kids?

reply

Affleck as Batman was a little bit better, than his predecessors, but not really an true Batman.

I'm still laughing at the decision, it's like watching his DareDevil again.

Affleck reminds me of his *beep* acting in Chasing Amy.

Hey, back when he made "Chasing Amy" he was still trying to act. Now he just clenches his jaw to show you he's angry or has that "aw shucks" fecal masticating grin. Those are his two emotional masks.

Since Batman really only needed the first one, it worked as well as anything else in the movie worked.

DC should be happy to have Affleck because his Batman and Viola Davis' Waller are legitimately the only good things they have going for them in film. Their film universe is a disaster so far, look at what they did to Lex Luthor. One of the worst performances put to film.
