The main Villain and plot was the problem

**Spoilers**

So I just watched this movie and the problem with it is not the direction, the acting or the cast... Its the plot.

This movie was set up to be the "Squad of Misfits" against something right?

But instead we get the squad, getting together in a real asinine rushed way just to be dumbastiaclly tricked into saving someone from one of their own basically.

What I mean is, .. The whole magical element of Enchantress and she being the main villain, felt out of place. Yes she should've been pat of the team, but all of them, needed to fight some more basic enemy. maybe some supersoldier from the goverment, or an Alien or some advance tech weapon os something like that. But when you get those "magic" themes into a movie like this, that is grounded in a loose reality, there's really no way to get the normal guys (compared to Enchantress) to be a real threat to the villain or the plot.

I mean, they made Enchantress and her brother to be totally invincible, dropping jets, tanks, waves and waves of trained soldiers with not even a scratch and you expect the audience to believe the guy that never misses a shot, the mutant that eats people, the guy that throws boomerangs, the crazy girl that really has NO VALUE TO THE TEAM WHATSOEVER and the girl with the sword to be able to defeat what is basically a GOD???? The only one really that I thought had a chance was Diablo, but even so, he was so underused and when he was able to a fight the brother, they made him into a useless tool too until he became that giant demon thing and even so, he was not really that effective.

So basically what Im saying is that all along I was thinking that the bad guys were way too powerful for them to beat and the ending would be the inevitable clusterf◘ck of Hollywood CGI and that there would be that "no sense whatsoever action" that would be what takes the bad guys down and I was not wrong. I could see that whole "Romance" thing between Flag and June being the ending plot point in the fight a mile away and the whole Harley Quinn cutting the heart of Enchantress was soooooooo stupid and plot convenient......

We all know that these types of movies are as good as the bad guys, but making the bad guys Enchantress was a mistake and made the movie into a cringeworthy videogame actioner not even worthy of ScyFy Channel reruns.

Thats why they should reboot this movie.

Without the studio intervening, BvS couldn't have been shown in IMAX theatres. Even though he knew the limit, Snyder still made a movie that was ~30 minutes too long for that. The studio just did what they had to do, because Snyder couldn't follow simple instructions.

I completely agree. I loved the idea of including Enchantress and having her as the "Hulk" of the team as Amanda Waller wanted.

But then the plot completely goes AWOL when they make her the main bad guy. It would've been a great dynamic to see her interacting with the rest of the squad - escaping at the end and then becoming a villain for Justice League Dark.

Instead we got a CGI convuluted crap fest.

The problem with SS is ALSO the direction, the acting AND the cast. Yes, the plot was awful but the movie seemed hacked together. You have to remember the director also wrote this mess. Add a cast that mostly phoned it in and you get exactly what was puked on to the screen.

They should of focused more on Joker/Harley than Enchantress/Diablo
