The soundtrack

This must be the worst soundtrack I've ever seen (or heard) in a big budget movie.
Not that the songs were bad. It was because it felt like they chose classic songs from a list, and randomly picked one of those songs for each scene.
Without reflecting on if the specific song would fit that scene or not. Ok, sometimes it worked, most mostly not.

What made it even worse was that they used a lot of songs that are associated with other movies, either soundtrack or trailer music. Like when they played the song from 'The Wolf of Wall street' trailer in the Deadshot shooting practice/demonstration scene.
They even used a song from one of the GoTG trailers.

Speaking of GoTG, that movie had a similar type of soundtrack, but it worked since they used songs that fitted the context. Another film that had a similar style was Watchmen.
They also pulled it off by choosing wisely.

You gotta wonder what morons they hire to make these decisions?

It looked very random even in the trailers.

My life has major plot holes.

It has a great score though! That was replaced by those songs!  Thanks Obama! I mean Warner Bros.! 

I guess the soundtrack was one of the things the director added to make the movie more "fun" lol

Ask the guards, they'll deny it. Ask the inmates here—they'll cut their tongues out before they talk

reply

Yeah the writer director sucked.
All his choices sucked.

Um, I have the soundtrack on repeat in my car. And I'm a chick, who just got her drivers license, so yeah, I loved the rendition of I Started A Joke that much that I play the soundtrack in my car constantly. Wreck Havoc is good to switch up real loud too, all those gun sounds.

Got that purple Lamborghini lurking... Not sure what that means about me as a person, but I love the soundtrack in the car.
