I've got to agree. This is one of the worst cop/comedy movies ever. The worst part was having to watch Tracy Morgan slobber over everyone and dole out his idiotic lines. I would have been better entertained watching paint dry !
shareI made it through more than five minutes but I really wish I would have just not started. I was expecting a lot more from Kevin Smith and Bruce Willis but it was just bad.
I remember hearing Kevin Smith talk about the connection between Cop Out and The Other Guys. Will Ferrell and Mark Whalberg were attached to Smith's Cop Out but they ended up leaving for The Other Guys. It was a brilliant decision. I thought The Other Guys was hilarious, clever, and a new take on an old story. I enjoyed the characters and what they were going through. Cop Out had none of that, just an attempt...a poor attempt....
Montoya and Batwoman were gay before Alan Scott.
After the first 5 mins I thought "Ehhhhh this isn't gonna be very good" but after about 15 mins it picked up, I thought it was pretty funny and enjoyed it in the end.
The Other Guys was better though.
