bruce willis is bruce willis, he's been a hollywood mega star for 25 years, kevin smith been making movies for 20 years but he's considered more of a 'low budget/indie' director, ignoring everything else you heard about their personalities, who do you think has bigger clout on the sets just based on that info alone?

Bruce started his career doing comedy and action/comedy. The Director is the boss on set but Bruce's complaint was that Smith didn't interact with actors and was high while shooting.

Smith was the director. Shouldn't he be the one in charge?
shareyes smith should have been the one incharge. But Willis' complaing was (as permentioned) he was high the entire time and left actors without direction.
Smith did not deny the being high all the time, in fact he got it from SETH ROGEN after shooting Zack and Meri (sp). Rogen said it helped him keep calm on set, so Smith being a pot head anyway started to use during shooting. Smith also claims that he helped every actor that needed it.
Willis says that actors were coming to him for advice....not Smith
The weed of crime, bares BITTER fruit.
The Shadow knows
Willis is a absolute professional. At this point in his career I am sure I would be the same. You want everybody around you to be hard working and when that isn't happening I am sure it's probably not a good feeling when you are filming a movie. I like Kevin smith but he is not an action director, quite the opposite really. Willis figured someone needs to help steer the ship before it sinks. The movie didn't do well, I thought it was funny but it could have been much better. It seemed like a laid back film as you watch it.

Generally when a movie does badly you need to blame somebody. You can blame the director, the lead actor or the script.
For some reason they got both these guys to blame each other instead of the script.
Funny how Robert Rodriguez can work with Bruce three times and Kevin cant work with Bruce and then publicly bashes him. Kevin has that personality that hes like a regular guy like us and gets us on his side bc of his laid back attitude when he should be a professional on set. Who knows? But thats just my opinion.
