The Reason Leftists Hate This Movie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CM-GOF1DVH8
shareThey hate it because apparently portraying someone who is overweight as unhealthy is offensive now? They can't be happy and always need to be outraged about something.
shareActually, the sane Leftists aren't saying that being hundreds of pounds overweight is healthy, what they're actually saying that everyone should stop being mean to fat people. Why something so sensible gets up people's noses I do not understand, but requests for basic decency get up a lot of people's noses.
Which is why the Right has no room to talk about the Left's lunatic fringe.
There isn't such a thing as a sane leftist

You guys got no room to talk.
There are no sane leftists.
shareLeft. Right.
Fuckin grow up.
This Matt Walsh guy generally makes good points against all kinds of woke and leftist bullshit. But on the other hand he literally believes in Satan, heaven and hell. Can't take him seriously with his religious nonsense.
shareYup. One can't claim that trans and obesity activism is anti-scientific, while in the same podcast shilling prayer CDs.
shareNow I know why Reddit hated the movie. Also, I get why the movie has like a 67 on RT, but Strange World has good ratings.
shareWhat did you think of it?
shareThey hate it because Brendon Fraiser is pretending to be one of the gays when he's a straight white guy. That's a big no no to them now.
shareThe best thing about this discussion is it provided lots of fascists accounts to add to my ignore list.
shareWhy are modern leftists so incapable of handling opposing viewpoints?
shareBecause these "viewpoints" are usually based on lies and propaganda.
shareIt seems like I see that a lot more from the left, but I can handle it and don’t feel the need to censor or block anyone. If it’s an egregious enough statement I’ll even argue against it. Far more effective than ignoring it and allowing it to propagate.
shareFine, I'll "argue". It's pretty simple. Leftists do not hate this movie, at least, not more than people with other political views. I'm not going to watch a Matt Walsh video to dissect why he believes that, but as a leftist who has many leftists friends and participates in leftist communities, I can tell you this movie is generally well received (and also, not very political).
shareI love it when people try to use buzz words incorrectly. Please, explain how any of the above posts are "fascist".
shareIt's a favored buzzword of the left because they think it gives them an excuse to censor any viewpoints they don't like. A recent example is the mods of /r/WhitePeopleTwitter proudly declaring they will automatically delete any posts that agree with Ron DeSantis on any issue because they consider him a fascist.
Lol, I'd challenge any lefty to explain how Ron is a fascist too. I think we are starting to see that this outrage is actually a very vocal minority. The same outrage was floating around boycotting JK Rowling and the new Harry Potter Universe game...and it sold 12 million copies in the first 2 weeks. and it hasn't been released on 3 major consoles yet.
shareThat's true. I should start referring to them as "the far left" instead of just "the left".
