How Good Or Stupid Is It?

I loved it. But then, I have read Pride and Prejudice more times than I can count.

all together this was a bad movie. If your an action/zombie fan you'll be very disappointed. If you like pride and prejudice you'll still probably be disappointed. Its an ok movie for a $5 matinee if you have nothing better to do. Just make sure you haven't seen any of the trailers for the movie.

It's a good film - if you're looking for a straight-up horror film you'll be disappointed, but if you are somewhat literate, have a sense of humor that can appreciate the concept and have the patience for the odd bit of Jane Austen comedy-of-manners stuff, you'll enjoy it. I rated it a 7, and will probably get a copy when it's available.

What Zombie movie isnt stupid? I enjoyed it haha.

I happened to love the movie, I love zombies and I love the 19th century and stuff like that and now it's even better because there is 5 woman that save the men instead of the other way around. I also love Sam Riley he is bae and makes the movie even better, I also love a lot of the other actors like Lily James, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, and Matt Smith.so for me to watch it I absolutely love it but I'm still trying to find out if there's going to be a second, I hope there is I really doing.

The thing is, it could of gone for a parody of P&P and over the top stuff (ref: shaun of the dead,) but I actually thought it was better and funnier the way they did it: they kept true to P&P and never made fun of it or the ridiculous combination.

The movie is fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable, both comical because it so serious and made with a wonderful period atmospheric feel. It is of course not believable in any way at all, but given the premise of zombies in early 19th century Great Britain it was wonderfully worked out and so easy to suspend disbelief.

Honestly, more movies of this kind should be made.

Go see it and be prepared to enjoy yourself.
