One question about the movie...

I thought the movie was okay but I wished it had a few more action sequences in it.
Something that had me puzzled though was the bit when Jane goes to ride over to Mr Bingley's she encountered a zombie mother and baby. Then it cuts to her suddenly being very ill with flu like symptoms and then suddenly she's better. They never explained what actually happened and how she became ill? What did happen in that scene, not sure whether I missed something?
Also the four horseman they didn't really do anything with them, what were they even there for?

After she fought off the male zombie (and her gun backfired on her) she sees the mother and baby. It also starts to rain. She catches cold in the rain.

I guess I was just reading into it too much.

Also her gun backfired, that's why she had the wound on her hand and Darcy thought it could be a zombie bite mark.

The 4 Horseman are just regular zombies. You can see standing in the front of the door when Darcy rescue the other sister.
