So what happened to them? Are they stuck on the other side too with all the undead? Aren't they slightly more evolved than the general zombie populace? I thought they were special and superior.

I take it you didn't see the mid-credit scene then???

No, I don't think I did. I saw the scene toward the end where they get married and see Wickham leading a horde of zombies. Is that the scene you are referring to?

The horsemen were riding with Wickham in that scene leading the horde
