'The Book of Boba Fett' reminded me of 'Hawkeye', also on Disney+ (spoilers)
- Both series seem to be totally disinterested in their elderly title characters (who spend most of the time out of costume), as opposed to setting up the cooler, newer versions (Kate Bishop, The Mandalorian).
- Both of the elderly heroes are hung up on the importance of family (Clint with his wife and kids, Boba Fett with the Tuskens and then his new gang).
- Both have characters (Boba Fett, Echo) whose loved ones are murdered and are misled by their criminal bosses to take out their vengeance on a rival.
- Both inexplicably dwell on annoying supporting characters (the Mods, the cosplayers).
- Both have scene-stealing cameos (Cobb Vanth, Black Widow) that don't really add much substance to the overall series, besides setting up more spin-offs.
- Both feature underwhelming bad guys (the Pyke Syndicate, the Tracksuit Mafia) until a major pre-established villain (Cad Bane, Kingpin) appears in the final two episodes to appease fans with a short fight scene.
- Both end in long, chaotic brawls through the strangely empty streets of a big city.
