Why the focus on Tattooine stuff?

It's really overexposed on Star Wars as it is, and it's not really that interesting.

People may have a liking for slimy gangsters on Star Wars like they do on open-world crap like GTA, but I don't.

To me, Star Wars has always been about the space battles and especially the Imperials, with all the evil they could muster, with the good guys the Rebels second.

But Boba Fett to me was a one-off, a LOSER, and not even that interesting. Who cares if he captured Han Solo? Harrison Ford requested to leave Star Wars and obviously, Boba Fett was created as a result of that decision. BUT, Ford returned as Solo and Fett ended up swallowed by the Sarlaac, so it CAME TO NOTHING.
