The chase scene, (was reminiscent of Marty being chased through the square) biker kid gang running down the mayor’s stooge. Stooge even runs into a barrel of apples at the end of it (almost identical to the way Biff slammed into the manure truck).
It had tasteful BttF vibes all over it, in my opinion at least.

It is not, would have made sense if he had.
I got pretty excited when I read your post and checked immediately. One of the two cinematographers for episode thee shot Clerks and Mallrats though, explaining the pop-culture sentimentality.
