Pretty Good
Idk what everyone else expected, but I expected a mystery/thriller and I got what I paid for, this was also realistic to how some humans react to certain situations. Great acting by Cavill as he put on a solid American accent.

I didn't think so, Cavill just sold me his Superman ticket no doubt. He proved he can hold his own in Immortals and now he proved he can do a solid American accent, so yeah I will see Man of Steel.
shareI've seen him do a better American accent in "Blood Creek", which is a terrible movie but he was good in it. But like I said, except for the accent, I thought Cavill did a fine job here. He was the only actor in the movie who I saw put actual effort into his performance.
That's part of the good qualities about Cavill as an actor - he's a genuine "tryer". Even if given crappy material to work with.
But don't get me wrong - Cavill had me sold that he was going to be an awesome Superman LONG before this. "The Tudors" showcased that he could definitely act and "Immortals" showed that he had the charisma to star in a leading role. And finally, of course.... Just look at the guy. He looks EXACTLY like the comic book Superman.
So I have faith in him to be a great Superman regardless of how bland I thought this movie was.

I did watch Henry Cavill in th Tudors and he was pretty good in that and in Immortals which was a far better film that this.
