The Title Killed It

Was driving by the theatre today and saw "The Cold Light of Day" on the marquee. My first thought was, oh that sounds like an interesting indie drama. Once I looked the title up, I realize I had seen the trailer before only couldn't recall the title.

It's a terrible title for the subject, and to make matters worse I've never even seen a TV spot. No one is going to remember to see this, and generally speaking these bean counters who appear to run the show in Hollywood these days need to get wise to their own tactics and select titles which blatantly correspond of the marketed plot.

I totally agree, I gritted my teeth just to get through the movie after Bruce Willis died, and then I had to put up with the fact that the woman that should be his attractive damsel turns out to be his sister, I had a tiny aneurism... But all that aside I couldn't think of the title of the movie once I got to the end. Horrible movie backed with a horrible title.

The title makes no sense. They obviously don't know what temperature the sun is.

I just watched it an hour ago and couldn't remember what it was called...

sounds like a cheesy 80's/90's made for TV thriller.
