The only good thing about this movie

I live in Madrid and it was fun to recognise the locations, many of them close to places where i used to live. They used the Italian consulate 200 metres down my old street as the American embassy. Imagine watching Sigourney Weaver next to your bus stop. :-)

Second good thing - that it was only an hour and a half, which is also the worst thing about this film - it was an hour and a half long.
I wanted to kill an hour and a half, but ended up killing half of my brain, trying to wrap it around this turd of a plot.

I prefer Barcelona because it's near the ocean. Madrid is too landlocked. So first they were on a boat on the ocean and then later they went all the way to Madrid? That's like a 4 hour drive.

Madrid is a beautiful city. I went a few years ago, and had the time of my life. I definitely want to go back! Madrid is very underrated imo. It doesn't get enough credit. It has beautiful architecture, great art, nice people, incredible food, good transportation system, including the metro, and a really gorgeous location. Sure, it's not near the ocean, but so what? So many great cities are not located near the ocean, and I didn't feel like I missed the ocean at all. There was tons of stuff to do anyway.

And Henry Cavill! I'm sorry, but he is the only reason I kept watching it on the plane and didn't switch to another movie!
But I saw The Raid: Redemption after this and it totally made up for the lack of action and thrill! :p
