Soul Baby
Noah's exchange with Soul Baby had me cracking up. Anyone else enjoy this as much as I did?
Tommy just sold a half a million BRAKE PADS!!!!!!!

Apparently not.
shareIt was the only part of the movie that was funny.
I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.
No it wasn't funny. All of the black people in this movie, save for the waitress girl, were portrayed in a stereotypical ghetto/violent fashion. Even little Rodrigo (?) was stereotyped as the simple savage who "just can't get right", and needs to learn how to be civilized by the white people surrounding him. If someone is going to implement racism into their movie, the least they can do is make it funny...
shareGet over yourself, a-hole. People like you need to be exterminated.
I hate IMDb sometimes! They are never any when you need it.
Lol, silly sdietrich719. Don't you know that tyrants, dictators, and despots exterminate people like me everyday? Such is the price for speaking out against the status quo :)
shareNope. And not because of some sort of racism that people read into every movie that comes out.
It just didnt make me laugh. In fact, nothing did. I chuckled exactly once the entire movie. Thats how funny it was.
Thats how funny it was.
Keep it in control baby. Tears, no fears man. Respect it, don't neglect it. Treat it, don't beat it. Feel me?
shareYeah blacks getting stereotyped in a overdone comedic film...... let's read into this stupid film even more?
Now that I think about it I should be pissed.... even on TV now whenever there's an ITALIAN GUY he's always a mob boss or gangster.... or has a new york accent "YO YO YO"................
I should spend all my time insulting all films and television related to that! Damn you Joe Pesci!
Notice how you come across somebody once in a while you shouldn’t have f’ed with? That’s me.
I thought it was funny. I'm black by the way and I didn't find it offensive at all. They were stereotyping black thugs not black people in general. So no big deal.
shareI didn't find offensive either. But that doesn't mean that they weren't stereotyping blacks. Yes, ALL blacks, since there were no normal "non-thuggish/ghetto" ones in this film. But as I said before, if you're going to resort of racial stereotypes while making a movie, at least make it funny. Funny racism is somewhat entertaining. Especially since I get to laugh at the imbecility of the idiots who weren't clever enough to rely on something besides racial stereotypes.
shareI enjoyed the movie and thought it was pretty funny, but I was dying during the whole exchange with Soul Baby. So great
shareOr Method Man.
"I wanna throw a major shoutout back at you, my man."
"Major shoutout? I don't know what the f--k that means but I can respect it."
