Is the book worth it?

Okay,I've been thinking about getting the book.I know I said this show was crap, but usually the book is better than the show or movie and Revenge of the Sith is living proof of that.So is the book worth it?Is it better than the show? And if so,how is it better?

The book is pretty different, the ending is a lot grimmer. Good call on the ROTS book, though. I wish the movie could have been more like it.

No comparrison. The book is so much better.

Does Freddie rape Maggie in the book too?Do they explain why?I've never been able to figure out why he did that.

Yes he does rape her in the book and yes, it does explain why. Not in a "this is why i'm doing it" sense, but because you have much more insight to the characters, it's a lot clearer. The book is a lot clearer in general, for the obvious reason that it's easier to include more things in the book rather than a 4 part series. Also, by around the end of part 3 of the TV show, the book and TV show take two completely different paths. Martina Cole is very good at what she does. If you get this and enjoy it, I recommend next The Know and after that, Dangerous Lady.
