The take is 'the' best crime tv show I have seen, probably ever. The acting, especialy form Tom hardy is amazing, the tone of the show is great and it does in most respects live up to the book, you cant cuss this show its immense

I'm glad you agree, LuvHisChi. I'm a great fan of "The Sopranos", and consider it to be THE greatest TV drama of all time, so it isn't often I give praise and comparisons like the one I just made...but with "The Take", the potential and brilliance was all there.
But still, short and sweet is always nice, eh?
I haven't read the book either, I'm more of a true-crime person myself, but I might give it a go now.

How can you SAY that?
The acting was horrible(especially Tom Hardy),the story was horrible,and it was a rather poor production.
People really need to think long and hard about what stories they make into a tv show,as this one never should have been.
It didn't even accurately portray the world of crime.Freddie would never have walked away from the ecstasy deal alive even IF he managed to get a shot off.
I should have known those alien maggots booby trapped this sub.
