I actually though Maggie/Freddie migt have an affair of some sort, well from the trailers it looked like it...kinda.
I have a feeling one of the kids is going to end up dead :(...maybe not but, thats the feeling i get.

just saw the first hour. wow. Used Divx Player for HD videos. Waiting for part 2 to download. I do think that Freddie's redeeming quality was that he loved his mother enough to try to protect her so was killing his father justified in the name of love? Probably. Some of the lines are priceless "he always wanted to be on TV" funny stuff..but violent. Love the music.. He is very charming..Well done Tom Hardy. Shaun Evans is a really good actor. Like this character he plays. Kierston Waring how talented is she? very good too. I like Maggie she's sweet but I think she's tougher than she looks!

He didnt kill his dad, just turned put him in a wheelchair and now he has gone mad...which is probably worse!

yeah your right. I was confused bc someone wrote that he killed him at the end of episode 1 but when I watched it I saw that he was still alive. Guess they misunderstood. Brutal guy though but very charming.

When I read the book it was more graphic than the film. The scene on film is more disturbing than grapic. I was thinking you s.o.b. freddie what a thug but that's who he is and does go after what he wants..

It was pretty shocking to read..I do enjoy the book though it is very well written. I saw the preview on Facebook. Yeah I think I know what's going to happen but I won't say. It has been interesting to watch this. I find myself finding a reason to feel sorry for him despite his dispicable acts of violence. His quest for power will be his downfall..There is no saving him.

just viewed part 2. Wow what a story. Charlotte Riley did a great job as Maggie. Was really shocked at that last scene. But amazing acting really by Hardy also..
