I hope Abraham Attah gets an Oscar Nomination for BEST ACTOR

I hope he gets a Nom and if he gets a nom I hope they dont bump him down to Supporting like they do with most children

Yes it was a solid performance from everybody involved, especially from the kids that played Agu and Strika - I liked Idris Elba's performance but the kids stole the show

Elba deserves to be nominated also.

Jamie Foxx and Ethan Hawke were the leads in Collateral and Training Day, yet they had to settle for Best Supporting nods.

Same with Haliee Steinfeld in True Grit. She was clearly the lead and they gave her a nomination for supporting
Also with the kid from Sixth Sense.

Kids tend to get the shaft

Agree. Attah for best actor, those tender scenes with Striker were phenomenal. Elba for supporting actor.
