Could this be a complete work of fiction?

It's strange that netflix did such a sloppy job covering their backs when it came to the legal issues that could come out of this. Gadd made it easy for anyone to find the identity of his stalker on his facebook account, they could have changed a few things about Martha, make her a doctor instead of a lawyer, make her welsh and not scottish, little things that would be it difficult for the "real life" martha to claim shes being made out to be her.

It reminds me of the blair witch project, the makers of the blair witch project made a documentary about the legend of the blair witch and the events of the town, they interviewed locals, they got actors that nobody knew to play the roles, they even had actors pretend to be their parents and go on tv shows to appeal for help, people believed that it was real, maybe not that there was a witch! but that these film students really went missing!

And it made the whole thing 3D, it made it much more interesting, could this be what they've done here? is the "real" martha an actress? all the attention after the piers morgan interviews have taken a show that would have been big anyway, making it huge.

It seems too sloppy from a company like netflix.
