6 years ago I would have been hyped about this. Saw a few clips and glad I didn't watch

year BTLJ (before The Last Jedi) this would have me absolutely stoked to watch.

year ATLJ I meh'd it, knowing it would be garbage. And my assumptions were confirmed.

The key moment of confirmation was when one of the good guys landed inside the big rebel ship in a stolen enemy tie fighter. He can fly the ship fine, easy, barely an inconvenience, but can't seem to work the controls to make a phone call to warn the rebel ship that he's coming and not to blow his ship out of space.

Then he decides not to take his helmet off to wave out of the window at a group of rebels, all pointing guns at the ship. Then he decides to walk out in front of them with the helmet still on and everybody stands there gawping, until he reveals that he is one of the main characters and they all stand there with open mouths.

Why did he do this?

Dramatic effect.

Add to that another lightsaber in the gut. Next episode, the character is gallivanting around as if it was a paper cut.

And the zombie stormtroopers. Who are slower, and have worse shooting skills than a minute ago.

Yeah I'm done with Star Wars.

You're not wrong that that was a very poor scene.

However, it was pretty much the last scene of the entire series so not too sure you can square that off with being glad you didn't watch the proceeding eight episodes worth of content equating to what (?), maybe five hours worth or so of viewing...

reply

7 hours of my time and a subscription to Disney+ just on the chance the other episodes just might be somewhat good to average?

No thanks.

reply

Completely up to you and I'm sure you could find other reasons to complain about the show.

Just pointing out that you chose to focus on practically the very last scene as a clip you've apparently stumbled across...

reply

That's the one that put the cherry on the top.

The other scenes I saw were just as bad. Note the title, "saw a FEW clips".

If you chose to pay for a subscription and spend your time watching absolute tripe just because it fills time, then that's up to you.

Keep fuelling the manure fire.

P.S.

That was the final scene to end the whole series? haaa haaaaa

reply

Okay.

Enjoy yourself πŸ‘

reply

Worthless comment. Enjoy myself, not wasting 7 hours and money on a Disney+ subscription?

OK, yeh, I will, thanks mate!

reply

Well to be fair, you seem to be more than happy wasting your time watching multiple clips of the show, working out what episodes they came from, making a "worthless" (?) thread on here seemingly just to say "having watched bits of this show, I'm glad I haven't watched this show"... and then topped that off by some worthless back and forth with me here when I'm not exactly some guardian of the show anyway...

You seem to be pretty happy wasting your time, so maybe you'd be as well wasting your time watching it!

reply

A couple of minutes out of curiosity rather than 7 hours of bad to average TV show and a Disney+ subscription on top? You seem to be a bit miffed that I choose not to do this and are doing mental backflips to pretend that a couple of minutes is a massive deal and 7 hours and a Disney+ subscription is not.

You can stand there and snipe all day snipey snipester.

I'm not watching this show.

reply

Dude, as I said further up - it's completely up to you if you don't want to watch it. I absolutely don't care one way or the other...

I'm not sure what kind of delusions of grandeur you must be having to think some random stranger would be "miffed" over whether or not some other random stranger was interested in watching a show or not but that's some self inflation πŸ˜‚...

reply

You popped up in my thread to convince me otherwise.

And you continue to do it.

You're pretty invested in my worthless thread if you don't care if I watch it or not.

I won't watch 7 hours of it. I won't pay for a Disney+ subscription for it.

The End.

reply

You popped up in my thread to convince me otherwise.

Bullshit.

Anyone can re-read my initial reply to see that is absolute garbage. I simply pointed out that it was pretty much the last scene you were complaining about and therefore there was no logical basis to square that with being glad you hadn't watched the rest of the show...

The fact that you keep replying, and wittering on and on about not getting a Disney subscription (honestly, do you really think anyone gives a crap whether YOU get a subscription or not? πŸ˜‚), makes a complete mockery of your claims to not want to waste your time on this.

reply

ANd here you are again. You're the one bothering to reply in my "worthless thread".

>I simply pointed out that it was pretty much the last scene you were complaining about.

The title says "Saw a few clips".

Later I pointed out....

"That's the one that put the cherry on the top. The other scenes I saw were just as bad."

Do you have a problem reading and understanding the English language?

Have you ever watched a trailer and thought, nope?

The same applies here, except trailers hide the bad parts, I got to see them in all their glory.

>The fact that you keep replying

It's MY thread!!!!! haa haaaa

Yes, your thread about how you're glad you didn't bother with Ahsoka...

... In which you keep going on about... Ahsoka!

"haa haaaa"

Either you're so removed and invested upon simply getting the last word in, that you're failing to see the irony in that or your just plain stupid.

Either way, I've nothing further to add here, as anyone reading this will clearly see this folly, so I'll leave it to you to have the last word (as I'm sure you won't be able to help yourself replying re this subject matter you're glad you didn't waste your time on πŸ™„).

Good day to you Sir πŸ‘

Nice word play. It was an attempt but didn't quite work. Jog on.

Playing whack-a-mole with Koopa Troopers like yourself is a hell of a lot more fun than that boring show. I'd rather spend my time dunking on you, it's much more enjoyable.

>Either way, I've nothing further to add here

You haven't added anything apart from your mental illness.

I'm not watching that dreck, swallow it -_-
