AIDS Paranoia
The AIDS segment the other night reminds me of a letter in an advice column year ago. Writer was a gay man living with his partner. His sister was so paranoid about AIDS, which neither he nor his partner had, that she wouldn't lets her kids go over to the gay couple's house to swim in the pool.
Had a case locally where a mailman was fired for refusing to deliver mail to a straight couple who were HIV positive.
I had hoped we were past such foolishness.
