yeah, thats y u guys r real lucky.

well, not exactly 'ban', just that most metal bands came here would not get a permit to perform to a big crowd. the shallow thinkin govt here would not allowed it becuz their so called ' satanic lyrics ', rowdy behavior bla bla bla..

Last happen during the Sunburst international Musical Fest over here, which the organizer who brought KORN to the fest was blacklisted as the govt found out that the organizer did not apply a permit for the band to come.. well, the govt eventually found out only after the festival, so KORN did performed without much hassle (and i was there of cuz!)

great band like napalm death and Kreator did came over 2 years back, while lesser known international hardcore band does come over time to time. All of them only get to play in small venue..

bigger bands like iron maiden, judas priest and etc would never consider comin as they know its a waste of time getting a permit to play for a larger crowd.. trust me, if they do intend to perform here, selling out the whole stadium is not a problem over here..

wow thats cool there are a lot of metal fans over there, we are worldwide man!

cool Ive seen napalm a bunch of times and kreator once, my favorites are Metallica Iron Maiden Black Sabbath Megadeth and Tool...

i hate when bands get the "satanic" label....why do horror filmakers and authors never get that sh it...

i guess im kinda spoiled because we get so many concerts here, every week...problem is the ticket prices have jus gotten too high so i only go to certain ones, last one being Metallica's death magnetic tour which was awesome!

for me, the nearest place to check out decent metal gig (international act) is either singapore (megadeth and heaven & hell came .. but i cant attend as at china for working purpose), thailand (dragon force was there 2 months ago) and indonesia (lots of metal bands love indonesia, lamb of god and etc..)

rotting christ suppose to come last month, but cant get a permit to perform. well, expectedd actually. lol

Agreed, I sorta teared up that that scene too... I have seen Iron Maiden live and I can guarantee you if you get the chance, it's one you should NOT reject. Before I went into the coliseum, I had to take a moment to reflect on the fact that Maiden are still around after 33 years, that my favorite band could hang the gloves up after this one tour. That I was REALLY about to be in for the best night of my life. Seeing them was the single greatest experience in my life. I was rocked, moved, and complete. Now, 2 years later, they are about to go on tour again. North America dates on Thursday and I am excited.

I do really feel bad for ya man, that must suck living someplace they'd never go.

The house of lords turned swiftly into a house of cards.
