You can't help but be in awe watching the response that Maiden gets all over the world. Obviously Rush and Metallica still draw incredible crowds everywhere. But who else has such a loyal, massive following (excluding flash-in-the-pan pop singers of course)?

Which is really what makes Maiden unique among other bands: they've had no airplay, no support from the mainstream, it's the fans, people, etc. that have been spreading the word of Maiden like a virus (no pun itended). It's amazing really. They also take pride in this and they haven't sold out ever, they've made it exclusively about the fans and music; which is why Maiden are my favourite band :)
